🔴🔧 𝗪𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻 𝗢𝗮𝗸𝘀 𝗠𝗶𝗱𝗱𝗹𝗲 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 celebrated the end of the week with a Dodgeball Day during electives! We thought the students would be the ones having the fun, but our teachers also got to 𝐝𝐨𝐝𝐠𝐞, 𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐤, 𝐝𝐢𝐩, and 𝐝𝐢𝐯𝐞 as the students let the dodgeballs fly! It was a great way to make new friends, enjoy a little competition, and burn off some energy to head into the weekend. #WhatIfStartsHere #GoBoldly #Dodgeball

What brings a professor from Australia to Capps Middle School?
𝙍𝙚𝙨𝙚𝙖𝙧𝙘𝙝 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙩’𝙨 𝙨𝙝𝙖𝙥𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙛𝙪𝙩𝙪𝙧𝙚 𝙤𝙛 𝙚𝙙𝙪𝙘𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣.
Putnam City Schools was honored to welcome Professor Wesley Imms from the University of Melbourne to Capps Middle School. His visit highlighted our role in a global study focused on how learning environments impact student success. The DLR Group, who designed Capps, joined him in exploring how thoughtful design can support teaching and learning. We’re proud to represent Putnam City in this international research effort and excited to share the insights ahead.
🦊 We even had a surprise visit from a fox and her baby enjoying the Capps campus. Wonder if that fox knows Capps is home of the Wildcats…
